This spirit-forward cocktail takes blanco tequila and softens its edge with lemon wedges and a whisper of sweet vermouth. Angostura bitters add depth, while soda water provides a refreshing lift. Served over ice, it’s dry, lightly tart, and perfect for the casual yet thoughtful drinker.

  • Lemon wedges
  • Soda water

Build

  1. 01 Add 2 oz blanco tequila to a chilled shaking tin.
  2. 02 Squeeze two lemon wedges directly into the shaking tin.
  3. 03 Add 0.5 oz sweet vermouth and 2 dashes Angostura bitters.
  4. 04 Shake with ice for 12–15 seconds until well-chilled.
  5. 05 Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass.
  6. 06 Top with 1.5 oz soda water.
